You’re viewing a gorgeous polished slice of Laguna agate. It has been cut flat on one side and left rough on the other. It has a been polished to a glossy finish on one side and displays vibrant red and orange banding partnered with a lovely small vug of quartz crystals.
Additional Info: Located approximately 150 miles south of the US/Mexico border in the state of Chihuahua, Laguna agates were first discovered in the late 1940’s and have become highly sought after in the agate collecting community. These agates have been dated to an age of roughly 38 million years old.
