Agate like water-worn pebbles of the zeolite variety thomsonite scattered throughout a basalt matrix. Several have been polished with the largest measuring almost 4.5 cm. Larger matrix specimens of this quality are becoming very difficult to acquire.
This specimen was a recent acquisition (May 24’) out of the collection of Brett Whitenack. Brett was an active collector for 40+ years who resided in McPherson, Kansas.
