Dozens of Chalcedony Stalactite points covered in fine sparkling druzy quartz. The black color in this specimen is produced by inclusions of the iron oxide mineral Goethite. The mines of Artigas, Uruguay are very well known for producing world class amethyst and other quartz formation geodes such as this one. This piece comes with a custom made metal stand.
