Intergrowth rhombohedral crystals of gem quality calcite are associated with gold colored chalcopyrite. The calcites display high luster and contain highly reflective internal fractures. The chalcopyrite is present both internally and externally. Naturally formed rhombs of calcite in this quality are extrmely rare to find. This is definitely a special piece worthy of anyone’s collection.
