Classic columnar shaped golden calcite associated with dolomite and galena from one of the Midwest’s most well known sulfide mines. The largest calcite crystal measures 4 cm and is associated with reflective dolomite and galena.
This specimen was a recent acquisition (May 24’) out of the collection of Brett Whitenack. Brett was an active collector for 40+ years who resided in McPherson, Kansas.
