An exceptional specimen of blue fluorite from the lesser known Galena King Mine in New Mexico. Stepped growth cubic fluorite is covered with what is believed to be calcite with hematite inclusions. Finding aesthetic specimens with easily visible blue color and in excellent condition is very difficult for this particular locality. This piece is most definitely top tier! If you would like additional images or videos please don’t hesitate to ask. This specimen actually looks much better in person. It was difficult the capture the true blue color in the photos.
This specimen was a recent acquisition (May 24’) out of the collection of Brett Whitenack. Brett was an active collector for 40+ years who resided in McPherson, Kansas.
