A collaboration between Summit’s Steps Minerals and Kansas City based artist Genevieve Flynn. A beautiful oak leaf pendant with a 4.5 carat oval citrine set into an 18 karat yellow gold bezel. The oak leaves have a sheet of 24 karat yellow gold attached to the surface of the fine silver leaves using an ancient Korean process called keum-boo. The gold is fused to the surface. The veins of the leaves were chased using a small hammer and chisel. A cold forged branch was added to the piece with a gold bail to allow the wearer to slide a chain through. The pendant comes accompanied by a 18” 14 karat gold chain.
