This mineral specimen is from the collection of Gregory Boles. Greg has had a lifelong passion for collecting minerals and other geological items. His hobby started at an early age in 1956 and continues to this day. Greg's enthusiasm for science led him to receive a BS in geology from the University of Kansas in 1987. He attributes all his knowledge in the field to his years of attendance of trade shows and his dealings with online mineral dealers, both in the US and while serving overseas. Greg's hobby eventually turned into a career where he taught earth science at secondary schools. Greg currently resides in Topeka, Kansas.
